My Hypothesis
The larger the surface area of a paper plane the more time it will take to hit the floor.
Independent Variable – The surface area of the plane.
Dependant Variable – The time it takes the plane to fall.
Supporting Evidence:
‘Objects with large surface areas, such as parachutes and shuttlecocks fall more slowly because they experience more air resistance.’ – BBC Bitesize
‘Air resistance depends on two important factors – the speed of the object and its surface area. Increasing the surface area of an obect decreases its speed.’ – study.com

Michael!
Thank you so much for putting this on here. Given hat I didn’t ask you too it certainly makes me smile to know that you a) value your Student Journal and b) considered this important enough to document.
I certainly think it is important and actually- you are only two pieces of evidence away from the hypothesis badge. Wonderful.
Some tips: ensure you try to find different sources, not multiple sentences from the same place & try to find some sources which state how important the variable you have chosen is. It’s not mandatory but certainly improves the argument you are trying to make.
Cheers!
